Kheir Andish, the acclaimed character designer, is one of the key people in DIDAR. The story and characters of this TV commercial was developed by him and he also was chosen to direct it. He developed an enhanced pipeline for optimized combination of 2d characters in 3d environment. The crows (those who are trying to rub Siv soaps from the manufacturer storage center) were roughly modeled and then based on simple rigging system were simply and so fast animated in 3d. The camera movements and shading were added to them. The final rough pre-visualization was used as a very handy reference for 2d animators. Mohammad Kheir Andish drew the keys and his team drew the in-betweens and cleaned them. A 2d shadowing system was developed in Shake for creating shadows and rim lights on the body of the crows. Elham Doost Haghighi managed this complex project based on DIDAR Integrated Project Management System and lead it to the end so fast and so efficient. The 2d characters were painted in Animo (Cambridge Animation Solutions) and the final compositing was done in Shake. The 3d environment was created using Maya and rendered in Mental Ray. Shading and texturing were done in Amir Gholamzadeh (DIDAR Technical Artist) team.
